Woodrum has been involved with restoration work for a number of years. Projects undertaken for clients to date include staircases, panelling, window restoration, shop fronts and work in an underground house.

We also manufacture fine windows, doors, floors, childrens' furniture and toys, timber buildings, grown ups' furniture, dipping platforms for schools, hand drums and kitchens, to name a few.

In fact, if you have the ideas or designs, and if it's wood, we can make it!

Woodrum has recently been commissioned to make a straw bale house with clay daub, for the Chris Beardshaw Growing Schools Garden, in Hampton Court Flower Show 2007. The garden is designed by Chris, working with Learning Through Landscapes. The idea of the 'cob house' is for it to be a study area/ hide for school children to use in their grounds which blends in fantastically with the stunning garden created around it.
